Peach Cobbler Dump Cake

Peach Cobbler is one of my favorite desserts. I love the sweet, rich flavors, but rarely have the time to stop and make one. That’s why I love this peach cobbler dump cake recipe- it’s quick, easy, and delicious! 3 ingredients and you have a dessert the entire family will love!

2 (30 ounce) cans of peach pie filling or sliced peaches in heavy syrup

1 box white or yellow cake mix, unprepared

1 stick of butter (1/2 cup or 8 tbsp), unsalted

1-2 tsp Cinnamon (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a 9×13 baking dish add in the 2 cans of peach pie filling. Add 1-2 tsp of cinnamon to the peaches and stir to mix well (optional).

Add the entire packet of dry cake mix evenly to cover the top of the peaches.

Slice butter into thin slices and place on top of the dry cake mix, covering completely. Slices should be thin enough that 1 stick of butter will cover the 9×13 pan. Be sure to cover the top completely. If you run out of butter, use a few slices to cover the rest of the cake. Note: too much butter will make the cake very rich, too little butter will create dry spots that may burn.

Bake for 45-55 minutes, until golden brown and juices bubble over the cake mix. Please note that cooking times vary, watch cake closely starting around 30 minutes and remove cake from oven once it’s golden brown across the top and juices are bubbled over. The cake will continue to brown and thicken after it is removed from the oven.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy!

Refrigerate any remaining cake and cover to ensure freshness. To serve warm, microwave for 10-15 seconds in a microwave safe bowl.

Sharing is Caring! Thank you!
